Richard Barry is a Creative Director who likes to get his hands dirty. As the Vice President/Creative Director of Paramount International , Rich personally slimed thousands of kids all over the world! As one of the creators of Slimetime Live, U-Pick Live, TEENick, etc.. Rich has done almost every job in media from Live TV director to International Creative director.  He now oversees Sesame Street creative around the globe.

Rich began his career working for Howard Stern in New York City.  He moved over to Nick as a production coordinator – and was promptly sent to work at Nick’s brand new studio in Orlando, Florida.  During his tenure there he oversaw the promotional campaigns for 90's classics like Clarissa Explains it all, GUTS, Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Legends of the Hidden Temple , and he created a LIVE interactive Halloween show called Nick or Treat. Years later he returned to New York and helped create the Live production team, which produced over 1300 episodes of Live TV. (yes, 1300) He was an executive producer and later a creative director for the Kids Choice Awards, overseeing the live pre-show from 2000-2009 and the entire international production, from 2010 to 2018.

He's got massive experience in brand building, promotion, and digital short form. His NY team produced 62 global 360 campaigns every year, that were translated into multiple languages. As Nick’s “Chief Slime Officer” - Rich owned the original recipe for green slime and the Guinness World Record for the “Most People Simultaneously Slimed” (762!!).  In 2018, Rich struck out on his own, opening Speed Social Marketing, combining his passion for motorsports, with his innate knowledge of promotion and social media platforms.

Rich has worked in the US, UK, Dubai, India, Argentina, Germany, and Korea.  He has vacationed in Grand Cayman, Paris, and Mexico, which he said was much better than working. He continues to race, and is an accomplished high performance driving instructor. He’s most proud of his son Luke, who is his greatest creation yet.
